Jorge Saraiva

Jorge Saraiva is expert with extensive International experience in information technologies with more than 23 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He was director for large multinationals in the sector (Infor, IFS and Exact).

Since 2012, Jorge’s main activity has been in the Smart Cities area. Based on his extensive experience in eGov, CRM and mobile, he founded Engage Citizen, lead a civic movement called DishMob (over than 5.000 members), co-leads EIP Citizen City at European Union and is co-chair of Citizen Focus for EU Smart Cities and Communities

Being one of the most active evangelists in Smart Citizens, Mr. Saraiva is often invited for seminars around the globe. He is author of papers about Startup City, Circular City, City DNA and Co-creation ecosystems.

Recently, Mr. Jorge Saraiva is VP Europe for DigitalTown a public listed multinational from the US and is leading the project Smart.London.

In the academic field Mr. Jorge Saraiva was a teacher of BPM (Business Process Model) at the University of Minho in Portugal.
