Biography

Lance is a market research and commercialization consultant working to forecast business to business markets in industrial applications as well as chart commercialization strategies for newly developed technologies based on market intelligence. This includes European Union funded projects, working with SME’s to pursue new markets, and working with start-up companies on how to position their technologies. His specialty is in new product development.

Lance has worked in strategic marketing and market analysis for a variety of leading developers and distributers of precision industrial products in the United States including AJ Oster (a division of Global Brass and Copper with sister company Olin Brass), Barnes Aerospace (an aerospace original equipment manufacturer), and Zeus Industrial Products (a developer of high performance polymer products). At Zeus he led in the development of the market entry strategy of their newly developed PTFE electrospun nanofiber line for industrial applications.

His automotive background is concentrated on logistics and purchasing strategies.  At UPS (United Parcel Service), he led the market analysis for their newly formed automotive and industrial manufacturing logistics market strategy. Before this position he was at SupllierBusiness (a division of IHS Global Insight) in Stamford, England reporting on the purchasing strategies of automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
