Barbora Czokolyova

Barbora Czókolyová is a junior in-house lawyer at the Legal Department of the Comenius University in Bratislava and a PhD. student at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava. She dedicates her research to the position of researchers and investors in start-up and spin-off companies established in the area of research, development and innovations. Her analysis is focused mainly on the university environment.

Barbora worked for one year as a legal support and legal researcher on the project of Science Park of the Comenius University in Bratislava where she dealt with the procedure of the Science Park separation from the University, preparation of internal regulations and directives regulating the intellectual property protection at the University, establishment of spin-off companies from the University, exit strategies for the University from these companies, preparation of memorandums of cooperation with investors.

Barbora completed her master´s degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava and she obtained her specialized master’s degree in international and comparative law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki.
